Where was I?

Wow! It's almost like I fell off the planet at the end of January or something. I was humming along pretty good there for a while...a short while, but whatever. I think the pressure of blogging every day got to me. I just am not interesting enough for that. I bored myself. And that's a terrible thing.

I haven't been knitting much at all. In February, John and I trekked north (or rolled - we drove) to Des Moines, IA and checked out Drake University. Then, after an uneventful March, we rolled Northeast to New York to check out West Point. Wish I could say John had made a decision, but not so much. I can only imagine how difficult his decisions are - I'm 37 and I don't know what I want to do with the rest of my life, much less know it at 18. Say a prayer, will you, that when he does make his choice he'll be secure with it and not look back. Life is far to short to be filled with 'what-ifs', as we all know.

I've read a book or two. Currently the book club selection is "Nineteen Minutes" by Jodi Picoult. An amazing writer, who always makes me feel a little bit uncomfortable while I'm reading her books. She makes me think about things I don't want to think about. But I can never put her book down until I'm done, and I always feel better for having read them once I'm finished.

I painted my nails today. Hot pink. I'm trying to bring on the warmer weather.

John graduates in 33 days. God help me.
